Vegan Snickers Ice Cream

Due to popular demand, I had to create and share this incredible vegan Snickers Ice Cream for you. Trust me when I say, it takes satisfaction to a whole new level! 🤤

The rich and creamy chocolate ice cream, the drizzles of peanut butter, the crunchy peanuts scattered throughout… seriously, this will not disappoint.

But first, let’s address the elephant in the room. Some of you may be wondering, how good can vegan ice cream possibly be? We’ve all tried those icy, flavorless frozen dairy substitutes. Not exactly the creamy dessert we all love so much…

But this Vegan Snickers Ice Cream is far from that. This is the real deal. But, how?

Are Snickers Vegan?

Sadly no, Snickers bars are not vegan. They contain milk, lactose, and egg whites.

Luckily, vegans can enjoy the chocolatey, peanutty goodness of a Snickers in ice cream form by following our recipe.

We use just five plant-based ingredients including coconut milk, maple syrup, and cacao powder to provide the authentic flavors in a healthy vegan way.

Is this Vegan Snickers Ice Cream Gluten-Free?

Yes! There are no glutenous ingredients, so you can enjoy it without worrying.

What is Vegan Snickers Ice Cream Made Of?

We use just five wholefoods ingredients to make this Snickers ice cream.

Here’s what you need:

  • 1 can (13.5 fl oz) full fat coconut milk, unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder, unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • Peanuts

How Do I Make Vegan Ice Cream?

The three things you have to consider when making any kind of ice cream are fat, sugar, and air. Read more about my top tips on how to make vegan ice cream here.

For this Snickers Ice Cream, add the coconut milk, cacao powder, and maple syrup to a mixing bowl, and whisk well. Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and transfer to freezer overnight.

When ready, add the chocolate coconut milk ice cubes to a high-speed blender. Blend until creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.

Pour the chocolate ice cream into a loaf tin, fold in the peanuts, and drizzle the peanut butter throughout.

Freeze for about 30 minutes to an hour, or until firm enough to scoop. It’s then ready to serve!

FAQ

How Long Does Vegan Snickers Ice Cream Last?

To be honest, when we make this, it’s gone within a day! However, you can store it in the freezer and it will last for up to one week.

Do I Need an Ice Cream Maker to Make this Vegan Snickers Ice Cream?

No, you do not need an ice cream maker for this recipe! The high fat content of the full-fat coconut milk paired with the sugar from the maple syrup and the aeration of blending means no churning necessary.

All you need is a high-speed blender. I use a Vitamix, and couldn’t be happier!
